Agoura Hills, CA (Jan 15, 2014) — The Fender Music Foundation (FMF) will be in attendance at the annual National Association of Music Merchants Show (NAMM Show) at the Anaheim Convention Center January 23-26, 2014, Booth #300. FMF is a nonprofit organization that supports music through the donation of instruments and equipment to qualifying music education and therapy programs nationwide.

This year at The NAMM Show FMF will premiere an all-new Public Service Announcement starring celebrity Don Felder, preview new video promotions, product partnerships, and unveil exclusive autographed memorabilia for upcoming auctions. FMF will also be providing press-style coverage of the event from the show room floor, speaking with musicians, industry leaders and product manufacturers about the importance of music education.

Executive Director Lynn Robison of FMF: “We are excited to participate in The NAMM Show because of the opportunity to strengthen existing relationships and forge new ones. Just as music is collaborative, we rely on partnerships with industry leaders and innovators to help us in our goal to make music making available to all.”

FMF seeks to strengthen its ties to the music industry and foster new relationships in support of its mission to promote music community, education, and healing through its donation programs. As a nonprofit organization, FMF relies upon private and corporate donations of funds, instruments, and other musical equipment which it supplies to qualifying programs in need. It also sells and auctions certified authentic autographed memorabilia by well-known musical artists and music makers to generate funds for its programs. The NAMM Show is the nation’s largest convention of music industry professionals, and as such is the ideal environment to find like-minded individuals and entities to join with FMF in this mission.
