 School Fundraiser Offers Students Musical Opportunity
All Things Media offers schools the opportunity to raise money while giving students an incredible opportunity in music education. All Things Media produces a personalized music CD for elementary schools, which not only act as a fundraiser for the school, but it offers all of the students the opportunity to make music and share it with their friends and families.
All Things Media brings a state-of-the-art mobile recording studio into the classroom and record each grade singing pre-rehearsed songs. The recording is then professionally mixed, mastered and packaged, then sold to the parents as a fundraiser. It has remarkable success, not only financially but educationally.
Prior to each recording, the recording engineer makes a presentation to the students on the music industry. It's an overview from writing a song to the finished CD, including the recording process, equipment used and copyright issues.
Currently, All Things Media is working with schools in Michigan, Ohio, Illinois and Indiana but plans to take the fundraising opportunity national. It's a great opportunity for every school to get involved with this project, and the best part about it is that there is no cost to the school.
