Benefit for the Guitar Center Music Foundation


The Gift of Music Join the Guitar Center Music Foundation for this memorable event to raise money for music education!

Saturday, February 23, 7-10 p.m.

City Art

The Event:
The Gift of Music is a benefit for The Guitar Center Music Foundation in its efforts to improve the state of music education across the country. This one-time event will include an art exhibit, live music, a silent auction and celebrity guests. The proceeds from this event will put instruments in school music programs, after-school programs for low-income youth and music programs for the physically and/or mentally disabled. With your help, we can make a difference in people's lives with a gift that lasts a lifetime.

The art exhibit will feature bold, saturated guitar giclees by Paul Thatcher; please visit Absolute Arts for a preview.

The live music, courtesy of Koffeehouse, will include jazz, Kari Kimmel, John West,
Shawn Hlookoff and Carrie Turner.

The silent auction will feature pieces signed by Incubus, Mick Fleetwood, and Slash.

The foundation will also raffle off a guitar signed by celebrity and artist guests. Raffle Tickets cost $5 and can be purchased with admission.
