Non-profit organization Project Rhythm Seed launches new broadcast television series "LIVE", featuring Guitar Center Music Foundation

On Saturday, November 8, 2008, Project Rhythm Seed successfully recorded their first three segments of LIVE, a new broadcast television show that features diverse, original and emerging musical talent, as well as non-profit groups making a positive difference in our world and in people's lives. "LIVE is our opportunity to not only entertain, but to educate and expand the mindset of our viewing public by introducing them to the real movers and shakers in our world, unselfish, globally minded organizations that are striving to make change happen," says Executive Producer Myles Crawley.
The musical groups highlighted on these first three episodes included:
- Gregory Page - Songsmith and ex-Rugburn Gregory Page is a musical institution in the San Diego area. His newest CD "Bird in a Cage" is an excellent example of his expert level songwriting capability and musicianship.
- Eskimo Blonde - This four piece band traveled all the way from Aberdeen, Scotland to appear on LIVE. Their straight-ahead-rock style is infectious and immediately recognizable and will serve them well with US audiences.
- UBUV - This trance/dance group consists of a hot DJ, a cool drummer, a sitar playing multi-instrumentalist, and two of the grooviest dancers to ever hit the stage. UBUV is quickly emerging and turning on audiences wherever they play.
The non-profit groups involved were:
- Invisible Children - IC staffer John Shults was on hand to draw attention to their newest program "Schools for Schools" which empowers students in the US to reach out and help students in Uganda by raising money for new schools.
- Guitar Center Music Foundation - Executive Director Moriah Harris-Rodger addressed their mission of providing musical instruments to music programs across the country and of the importance of musical education within our schools.
- Project Rhythm Seed - Founder Myles Crawley described this group's product-based platform that gives back profits to worthy groups around the world. He also encouraged artists of all kind to get involved in the Project Rhythm Seed mission.
Project Rhythm Seed's LIVE is hosted by actor/musician Patrick Mack. LIVE is produced and packaged as a 1/2-hour show format and is available to television networks around the world.
