Professional Drummer Mike Veny Adds FMF Donations to His Business Plan
Band Together for Music Education

Mike Veny, professional drummer and drum teacher, shares his love of music through his web businesses, FunkyMusicStore.com and FunkFootwear.com, by donating a portion of the sales to fund music education for kids of all ages.

New York City, NY (PRWEB) October 3, 2009 -- Mike Veny, professional drummer and drum teacher promotes music education for kids of all ages on his two e-commerce websites through his "You Save - We Donate™" program that benefits the Fender Music Foundation.

Mike Veny has been teaching and playing drums professionally for over 20 years. From his drum studio located in Times Square, New York City, he has built not only a thriving drum lesson business and musical outreach to emotionally and mentally disabled children, but now manages two wildly successful e-commerce enterprises that are helping to fund music education programs nationwide.

Advocating music instruction in schools, Mike Veny donates a portion of each purchase made at FunkyMusicStore.com and FunkFootwear.com to help fund the efforts of the Fender Music Foundation. This nonprofit foundation provides funding and resources for music programs and music education across the United States; helping kids and adults experience the joys of music first hand. Mike Veny says "Music is an important part of my life and I was fortunate as a child to have a music program in my school. Some kids are not so lucky."

Performing as a professional drummer since the 11th grade, Mike immersed himself in the world of drumming at an early age. His musical interests range from contemporary Christian music to blues and jazz. He considers himself a "funk drummer at heart". "I have a passion for music with a strong groove that feels good." Veny says.

This drummer turned philanthropist additionally reaches out to local area kids with special needs through his therapeutic drum classes in conjunction with Family and Children's Association of Long Island. "Drumming is a fundamental form of creativity, one that brings these kids out of themselves and allows them to interact in a new and exciting way."

One of Mike Veny's e-commerce enterprises, FunkyMusicStore.com, operating since 2005, donates a portion of sales to fund the Fender Music Foundation. FunkyMusicStore.com is a veritable music warehouse showcasing products from 12 of the largest online music stores on the Web. Its easy to use interface allows for comparison shopping and features money saving coupons allowing the professional musician, garage music player, or just simple music lover to save big on guitars, keyboards, sound equipment, and many other music related products. Between special sales, featured products, and special coupons, buyers can literally save hundreds of dollars on a musical instrument or equipment purchase when they visit and purchase from the site.

His newest e-commerce enterprise FunkFootwear.com also donates a portion of its sales to the Fender Music Foundation. This new website expands Mike's reach into the world of footwear. "Musicians want great looking shoes too!" says Veny of his new focus. Expanding his efforts into footwear, Veny is using the same combination that has brought him success at the FunkyMusicStore.com site; outstanding selections from the largest shoe resources, comparison shopping options, and great money saving coupons.

This unique philanthropist and professional musician is working to change his world through his two successful e-commerce websites and his "You Save - We Donate™" program by providing funding for the Fender Music Foundation.
