Carol Hernandez Gives Back With "Guitars"

Artist Will Donate Artwork Proceeds to the Fender Music Foundation

TOPANGA, Calif. (April 21, 2010) - Carol Hernandez will be presenting her "Guitars" art collection at the Topanga Canyon Gallery May 12 through June 6. Twenty-five percent of the sales price of each piece will be donated to The Fender Music Foundation to benefit music education programs across the country.

The artist states on her web site that the intention of her art is to raise money for three charities. Hernandez chose The Fender Music Foundation because she has "been enriched by music" all her life and knew "the joy of being able to play the piano" since she was 6 years old. Hernandez will benefit The Cheetah Conservation Fund and The Cloud Foundation with her other art collections, which may all be previewed by visiting www.artistcarol.com.

The "Guitars" exhibit will be at the Topanga Canyon Gallery May 12 through June 6, 2010, open Wednesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The opening reception will be held Friday, May 14, from 6 to 9 p.m.
